星媒：自行車友善國家可向台借鏡

（中央社記者黃自強新加坡6日專電）新加坡「海峽時報」今天刊登標題為「How we can shorten our journey to being a cycling nation？」文章，呼籲新加坡嘗試打造自行車友善國家時，可以向台灣借鏡。

海峽時報（The Straits Times）引述新加坡南洋理工大學副教授Wong Yiik Diew報導說，新加坡應向其他亞洲城市如台北、香港和首爾學習如何發展自行車基礎設施。報導特別以台灣為例，說明台灣有超過4000公里自行車道，包括當地民眾及觀光客喜愛的兩條環島車道，可以遊覽整個台灣。根據海峽時報報導，台北市在2011年推出YouBike服務，使用者可以在台北市163個地點租借自行車，這項服務的目的在鼓勵短程通勤者使用自行車，目前租借已逾4億次，極具成效。
